8 Years in the Crypto World: Turning 2000U into 36 Million, Six Iron Rules to Avoid 90% of Pitfalls

In the end, I distilled six iron rules—understanding each one could save at least 100,000; truly grasping three can help avoid over 90% of the traps in the crypto world.

First Rule: Don’t panic sell during rapid rises and slow declines; this is mostly not a peak, but rather the big players quietly accumulating.

Second Rule: Don’t bottom fish during rapid declines and slow recoveries; weak rebounds after a crash are mostly illusions before unloading, don’t be fooled by “it can’t drop further,” the market is most adept at exploiting wishful thinking.

Third Rule: High volume at a peak isn’t necessarily bad; lack of volume is the most dangerous—volume indicates ongoing competition, no volume means the main players have withdrawn, and all that’s left is air.

Fourth Rule: Don’t act impulsively on volume at the bottom; you need to look for sustainability; a single day of explosive volume isn’t necessarily a signal to start, continuous volume after consolidation is the true signal for building positions.

Fifth Rule: K-lines are just appearances; trading volume is the reality; coin prices are merely a reflection of emotions; understanding volume is key to seeing through the market.

Sixth Rule: The highest level of practice is “nothing”—without obsession, you can dare to wait without a position, without greed, you can take profits in time, and without fear, you can enter decisively; controlling emotions is much harder than understanding trends.
