The crypto world is a place where money comes quickly and leaves even faster; if you're not careful, you'll be wiped out. I can turn 3000U into 280,000U, and it's not by luck, but by a set of iron rules that help you survive.
Contracts, to put it bluntly, are a double-edged sword; if the direction is right, it's a money printer; if wrong, it's a shredder. My strategy is quite extreme:
300U split into ten parts, each time 30U, with high leverage. If you're right, you take profits; if you're wrong, you accept it directly. Surviving until now relies on these five "survival rules."
First rule: If you're wrong, cut it off, don't hesitate.
Don't wait for a rebound; the market never caters to emotions. When you hit your stop-loss point, get out immediately; accepting a loss is better than getting liquidated.
Second rule: If you make five consecutive mistakes, stop immediately.
If the market is not right, pushing back is just giving away money. If you make five consecutive mistakes, shut down your computer, take a break, and come back the next day; your thought process will often be clearer.
Third rule: Withdraw profits as soon as you make them; don't trust account numbers blindly.
Money in the account can disappear at any time. For every 3000U you make, at least withdraw half; only what you put in your pocket counts as real profit.
Fourth rule: Only follow trends, don't touch volatile markets.
In a one-sided market, high leverage is a weapon; in a volatile market, it’s a meat grinder. If there's no trend, I'd rather not trade and wait for a clear direction before acting.
Fifth rule: Never let your position exceed 10% of your capital.
Don't go all in; to win, you need to survive first. A lighter position keeps your mindset steady, and your operations won't go out of shape.
