When I entered the crypto world, there was only 500u in my account.
Not much, to put it frankly, it was just money to "give it a try," and even if I lost it, it wouldn't affect my life.
At first, I also took some wrong turns.
I chased trends, invested in meme coins, and followed others' calls, and soon I had turned the 500u into a little over 100. The biggest realization during that time was:
It turns out losing money is much easier than making money.
Later, I took a break for a while and didn’t rush to place orders.
I started learning the most basic things: support, resistance, trading volume, emotional cycles. I didn't seek much, just aimed to make fewer mistakes.
The real turning point was when I strictly controlled my position sizes for the first time.
I only used 10%–20% for each trade, set stop losses, and stopped fantasizing about making ten times my money in one go.
During that period, the gains were slow but steady, and the 500u gradually returned to 800u and then to 1000u.
Once, during a market fluctuation, I noticed a mainstream coin repeatedly consolidating at a key support level, with the volume decreasing significantly.
No one was calling it, no one was hyping it, but I still entered.
That trade didn’t skyrocket, but it gradually rose over several days, and at the peak of excitement, I took profits in batches, and my account directly reached 1800u.
Since then, I understood one thing:
The real money in crypto is not made during the most exciting times but during the coldest times.
As the market shifted, I started only trading a few familiar coins and stopped touching everything.
There were wins and losses, but overall it was upward.
Once, I captured a good trend, and my account broke the 3000u mark for the first time; at that moment, I wasn’t that excited, just felt:
"So the method was right, money really comes slowly."
The last wave was when market sentiment warmed up, I participated in a main trend with my profit position.
No all-in, no fantasies, entering and exiting in batches.
When I exited, my account was just over 6000u.
It wasn’t an overnight fortune, nor can it be called a miraculous operation.
But from 500u to 6000u, I learned that the most important things are not the techniques but three phrases:
Don't rush, opportunities are always there.
Don't over-leverage, to survive.
Don't be greedy, profits are yours.
The crypto world is very noisy, but what truly changes the account is often those quiet decisions.
