On September 24, 2025, just one day after the token launch, attackers exploited a cross-chain bridge vulnerability to create 5 billion fake GAIN out of thin air. After a frenzied sell-off, they made off with approximately $3 million worth of BNB and ETH, quickly laundering the money through Tornado Cash. The price of GAIN plummeted over 87%, with its market cap evaporating by millions, leading to significant losses for holders.
The team claims that the “admin wallet was hacked,” but they have provided no valid evidence (on-chain tracing and freezing of funds have yielded no results), raising numerous suspicions within the community that this was a “soft exit.”
After the incident, founder Fazy Ahmed only vaguely acknowledged the vulnerability on October 3, yet was evasive about the compensation plan. Subsequently, the team hastily launched a new contract and claimed to have conducted a 1:1 airdrop and buyback. Ironically, their own airdrop reward list featured numerous bots, rendering the efforts of thousands of real users futile.
Despite the project boasting partnerships with “NVIDIA, Alibaba,” the chaotic execution and blurred responsibilities have completely shattered trust.
