Blockchain does not float in the clouds. Its existence entirely depends on a network of thousands of computers scattered around the world that constantly communicate. These computers are called Nodes.

🔸 What is a node?

Fundamentally, a node is any device, such as a PC, laptop, or dedicated server, that downloads specific blockchain software and connects to the network.

Its task is to store, broadcast, and verify transactions. It acts as an independent witness, recording every event in the market.

🔸 Difference from traditional servers:

The server model data is centralized in a massive warehouse. If the main server is hacked or turned off, the system fails, and the data disappears.

The node model data is replicated in thousands of identical copies and distributed decentrally among each node. There is no central server.

🔹 Why does Blockchain die without nodes?

Nodes create immutability and resistance to censorship.

To close Bitcoin, they would have to find and shut down tens of thousands of nodes in more than 100 countries simultaneously, which is impossible.

As long as 1 node is alive, the entire history of the Blockchain remains immutable and can restore the network.

Do you trust the data of your assets stored on a single server, or protected by thousands of independent nodes?
