U.S. Markets Shift Hours as Christmas Holiday Takes Effect

U.S. financial markets are adjusting their schedules due to the Christmas holiday. According to Odaily, U.S. stock markets will close early on Wednesday December 25 and remain closed on Thursday. Trading across major derivatives venues will also wrap up early including futures tied to precious metals energy forex and stock indices on CME and Brent crude contracts on ICE.

In addition Donald Trump has approved a three day federal holiday period. As a result the U.S. Energy Information Administration has delayed its weekly oil and gas inventory reports with revised release dates later this week.
