"He who waits despairs"…😭😭😭 and yes... the despair ended with a visible loss, goodbye account, goodbye dreams, and classic ending: "these cryptos are a scam".🤢🤢🤢
Most of us have been through this —and anyone who says otherwise is lying or hasn’t traded enough—. You see a candle go, you get attacked, you chase it like it's the last bus… and bam! it comes back. That’s when the anger hits, the wounded ego, and the most dangerous internal dialogue of trading begins:
"Oh really? Are you that tough? Go on then… take it all."
And the market, which doesn’t argue, takes everything without giving explanations.
All of this isn’t bad luck, nor manipulation, nor personal whales chasing you.
It's called despair, and it's the most expensive emotion in this business.
That saying “he who waits despairs” is famous everywhere because it defines how human we are… but in trading, it’s a mental trap. Here, another version applies, less popular but much more profitable:
👉 he who waits is the one who trades best.
Waiting means lowering the volume on emotion, cooling the head, and letting the market do its thing. And when you finally enter, you do it with judgment, not with anger, urgency, or a desire for revenge.
Now, let’s be honest: waiting is the hardest part. It's not sexy, it doesn’t give adrenaline, and it doesn’t help you show off on social media. Developing that habit is tough… but curiously, when you’ve already lost quite a bit, the market itself teaches you to wait. The hard way, but it teaches.
So for the newbies —and for the stubborn old-timers too—:
wake not a waste of time,
not trading is also a decision,
and entering only when the strategy really applies… that is trading like an adult.
The market doesn’t reward the fastest,
it rewards the one who knows when to stay still.
Success to all...
