The more gold prices soar, the more I feel uneasy. Recently, I revisited the historical trends of gold and discovered a rather painful pattern: in every round of gold bull markets, it seems unavoidable to encounter a global financial crisis. This is something everyone should be reminded of.

Take the bull market from 1971 to 1980, where the 1974 global financial crisis happened to fall right in the middle; the gold market that started in 2001 is even more evident, with the 2008 subprime mortgage crisis crashing directly in, which solidifies the pattern of 'bull market accompanied by crisis'.
