On-chain congestion can be greatly reduced with @Plasma technology because most of the transaction activity occurs outside (off-chain) of the first layer. At the same time, safety remains intact. With a greater amount of officials and users able to sustain higher monthly transactions, network XPL will be able to accommodate greater transaction volume without raising fees or creating stress on the network.
