The official exchange rate of the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus today is 2.89 BYN. Such low values have not been seen since March 2023, when the dollar was worth 2.85.

I looked at the new forecast from the Eurasian Development Bank for the average annual dollar exchange rate in Belarus for 2026-2028:
2026 — USD 3.32 — an increase for the year of 14%
2027 — USD 3.66 — an increase for the year of 10%
2028 — USD 3.89 — an increase for the year of 6%
The previous EABR forecast was higher. Earlier, the average exchange rate for 2027 was projected to be 4.01, but now it is 3.66.

According to the results of our survey in the channel, readers consider the dollar to be most likely in the range of 3.30-3.60 by January 2027. This is a weakening from the current rate by 15-25%.
