TCBS submitted an application for a business license for digital assets expected to have a license in the next 3 months

Sharing at the announcement event of Techcombank's (TCB) 2025 business results, TCBS Chairman Nguyen Xuan Minh stated that the company has submitted an application for a crypto business license, digital assets, expecting to be approved in about 3 months (or sooner).

TCBS affirms that it has completed the technology platform, operating system, and processes, and can implement almost immediately upon receiving the license. Previously, TCEX was established in May with a charter capital of 3 billion VND.

In parallel, TCBS and Techcombank are also preparing to trade physical gold, expected to launch the TCB Physical Gold platform next month, and further research into digital gold when the legal framework is completed (expected by the end of 2026).
