Binance Square Friends... Recently, with the rise of P2P trade scams and bank closures, I want to share an incident I experienced at the bank.

Once, when withdrawing 10 million kyats from my bank account, a counterfeit bill worth a thousand kyats came out. The bank staff immediately ripped it up, saying "it's counterfeit money." I was a bit shocked at first, but then I realized, "the money is not what I deposited; it's what I withdrew."

When I complained, the staff said, 'It's normal to have counterfeit money.' Even when it escalated to the manager, they said, 'If you're not satisfied, resolve it at the police station.'

Finally, when I firmly stated, 'This counterfeit money came from your bank,' they became embarrassed and their staff started to backtrack.

The lesson learned from this incident is -

1. Don't be too casual just because it's issued by the bank; make sure to verify the money.

2. If your side is correct, respond assertively without fear.

3. Always be mindful of deposits and withdrawals during P2P trading.
