The way Builders can use @Dusk EVM and hide financial rationale on-chain.
To numerous builders, Ethereum compatibility is a solution to one, posing a problem to another. Development is easier than usual since familiar tooling is used but when a contract is publicly executed, all the details of logic are on display. That visibility is frequently inadmissible in applications that are dealing with controlled assets or institutional processes.
DuskEVM alters this trade-off on the @Dusk Foundation. Builders will be able to operate on the basis of EVM development patterns and place contracts into a confidential execution environment. The interface is the same, although the assumptions of execution have changed radically.
Financial reasoning, pricing policy, and contractual terms do not require being sent to the network to be implemented. It recognizes the correctness and does not expose the inner mechanics using the protocol. This enables builders to create applications which reflect actual financial operations rather than streamlining them to fit on a clear ledger.
@Dusk EVM eliminates a fundamental limitation to teams creating issuance platforms, settlement systems or regulated financial apps. Developers have retained productivity and the institutions retain control over sensitive logic. Confidentiality and programmability are both features rather than work around.
