The developers of Locale Network have open-sourced their results L{CORE}, a self-hosted certification stack that addresses the "IoT trust issue" by cryptographically validating sensor data (temperature, energy generation, traffic statistics) before it is on-chain.

They use Cartesi as their computational layer for verifiable fraud, running a complete Linux runtime environment and SQLite database within Cartesi's RISC-V virtual machine to perform deterministic validation of device signatures and complex queries, ensuring that all IoT certifications are cryptographically verifiable and contestable.
