It falls to 89,517 dollars with weekly losses due to weak crypto appetite.

Bitcoin dropped on Friday, culminating a week of weakness, as easing tensions between the U.S. and Greenland and a significant purchase by Strategy did little to bolster appetite for cryptocurrencies.

Market confidence during the Asian session was also limited by a meeting of the Bank of Japan and after U.S. President Donald Trump warned about possible military actions in Iran.

The cryptocurrency was heading for a 5% drop this week, receiving little support from the main corporate holder Strategy Inc (NASDAQ:MSTR), which revealed a Bitcoin purchase of 2.1 billion dollars.
