According to China News Weekly, a netizen was flagged by the bank's risk control system for mentioning 'Dogecoin' while transferring 250 yuan pocket money to her husband through China Construction Bank, resulting in her account being set to 'no receipt no payment' status and subject to review. Bank staff stated that if the transfer note involves terms like 'Dogecoin', materials must be provided to prove it is unrelated to virtual currency, but bank statements alone are difficult to serve as valid proof. Such accounts may generally not be unblocked and can only be canceled. Currently, the person involved has submitted bank statements and a handwritten commitment letter to apply for the lifting of restrictions, but the bank's responses are inconsistent; some branches claim that submitting a marriage certificate may allow for unblocking.
