According to a report from the Financial Associated Press on January 26, Deputy Minister of Commerce Yan Dong detailed the subsequent policy direction at a press conference held by the State Council Information Office. Yan Dong stated that future work will adhere to both external opening and internal relaxation. On one hand, the level of openness in the service industry will be further enhanced, focusing on deepening the openness of sectors such as biotechnology, cloud computing, and foreign-invested hospitals, while guiding foreign capital to flow more into the service consumption sector. On the other hand, regarding the domestic market, efforts will be made to eliminate unreasonable restrictive measures in the service consumption sector that do not conform to market operation rules and restrict consumption upgrades, thereby encouraging various types of business entities to participate in fair competition and promoting orderly industry development.
