Welcome to the series 'Write to Earn' on Binance Square.
This is where we learn together how to turn quality writing into real commissions from the Write to Earn program – with a share of up to 50% commission from valid transactions generated through your own content.

Start gently with Lesson 1: Tagging tokens correctly.

Token tags (type $BTC , $ETH …) are not just for 'fun'.
They are the bridge between your writing and the right people interested in that token.

More importantly:
Commissions from Write to Earn are only counted when readers click on the token tag or chart in the article and then make a valid transaction.
In other words: tagging 'just to complete the set' but no one clicks → almost no value.

If you want the article to reach the right people, be easier to read, and increase the chance of earning commissions, pay attention to the following 3 principles.

3 token tagging rules to remember

1. Selective tagging
Don't 'scatter tags' everywhere.
Limit to a maximum of 3 tokens that are truly related to the content.
Less but accurate → readers understand what you are talking about → higher click potential.

2. Tags must accompany content
If you have tagged $TOKEN, make sure you are truly talking about that token:
explain, analyze, express opinions…
Irrelevant tags = readers click and feel 'off-topic' → reduces trust level, decreases interaction, and also makes it hard to earn commissions.

3. Chart + tags = a unified story
When inserting charts to illustrate price trends, make sure:

  • The chart matches the token you are tagging

  • Chart data supports the argument in the article

This consistency helps readers follow your story more easily, stay longer, and… increases the likelihood of action.

Additionally, there is a long list of things not to do (tagging indiscriminately, 'stuffing' tokens for the sake of it, etc.).
You can see illustrative examples in the article, just to be aware and avoid, not a suggestion to follow.

*Content is for illustrative purposes only, not a recommendation for any actions.

Try applying the above 3 principles to your next article and observe:
after a few weeks, you will start to see the difference in views, clicks, and commissions from Write to Earn.
