Bitmain doubles its investments in #الإيثيريوم 🚨
Bitmain purchased Emergent Technologies (#BMNR ), a treasury company #Ethereum led by Tom Lee from Fundstrat, 20,000 additional Ethereum on January 27, 2026 for approximately $58.2 million through the Falcon X platform.
At the same time, the company re-mortgaged 184,960 #ETH (valued at approximately $538 million), bringing the total mortgaged amount to #ETHUSDT , which is 2.13 million Ethereum worth over $6.22 billion.
As of January 26, Bitmain owns approximately 4.24 million Ethereum (both mortgaged and unencumbered), valued at around $12.8 billion, making it the largest publicly listed Ethereum treasury company.
Tom Lee believes that Ethereum represents a key investment at the macroeconomic level for the next decade, with Bitmain targeting to acquire up to 5% of the total Ethereum supply.
Institutions are not only buying Ethereum but are also freezing it.
