Yesterday afternoon fear knocked on my door. I took a Short at $RIVER seeing a clear "foam" with an RSI almost at 100. The price challenged me, increased aggressively, and was almost touching my Stop Loss (it reached $50.90 and my SL was at $51.12). 💀
What did I learn in those high-pressure minutes?
Emotional Control: Emotions do not go away; they are managed. I stayed calm, adjusted my defense, and trusted my analysis.
The "Mental Dollar" is a trap: I had $1 in profit, but that dollar only existed in my mind. The market gave me a signal to exit, and I preferred to close in the green with $0.57 rather than risk giving it all back out of ego. Green is green, no matter how small it is. 🗿🍷
The Tax: Binance commissions are real. I learned the hard way that trading without the shield of BNB and entering "Market" eats into profits. Lesson noted!
