I check:
* Trend alignment -> is the overall market direction clear?
* Swing structure -> are highs/lows confirming trend?
* Volatility behavior -> is the market calm or erratic?
Only when all align do I consider entries around CME gaps or setups.

I define solid structure by looking at higher highs/lows or lower highs/lows, key support/resistance levels, and volatility context.
Essentially, the market has to “make sense” before I act gaps or signals alone aren’t enough.
