The goal of the project is to move AI computing power from Earth into orbit.
In its filing, SpaceX describes the future network as a system of orbital data centers.
The company’s key arguments include:

➡️ Natural cooling — instead of consuming massive amounts of water like terrestrial data centers, orbital systems would rely on radiative cooling in a vacuum.
