The girl stated her willingness to cooperate with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in the investigation against the creator of Tron.
"I am ready to provide all relevant correspondence records in WeChat, as well as evidence provided to me by his employees confirming his activities in manipulating the market," wrote Yin on social media X.
She also asked American law enforcement to contact her and ensure the widest possible dissemination of information.
In March 2023, the SEC charged Sun and three of his companies with selling unregistered securities and fraudulent manipulation of the secondary market for the crypto token TRX. It was about a wash trading scheme — the rapid buying and selling of an asset to create false interest in it. Additionally, Sun was accused of paying for the promotion of the crypto project by celebrities — Lindsay Lohan, Jake Paul, and Soulja Boy.
In December 2024, Justin Sun acquired tokens from Donald Trump's family, World Liberty Financial (WLF), for $30 million. Later, Sun invested another $45 million in WLF.
