$XAU is still holding its 8H uptrend and consolidating after the sharp spike and dump earlier in the move. Price is sitting around 5,170, and the market is basically digesting volatility while it decides if this is continuation or a larger reset.
As long as gold holds ~5,100, the structure stays constructive and a push back toward ~5,300 remains on the table. If we lose ~5,100 with a clean break and hold, the pullback expands and we can revisit the ~4,960 area next.
