BITCOIN AT $68,600 AND FALLING — WHERE'S THE REAL BOTTOM?
May closed in the red. And June kicked off even worse.
$BTC just broke through $68,600 hard. A level the market hasn't seen since the beginning of the year. The drop from the ATH of $126,200 has already exceeded 45%.
What's happening?
Everything piled up at once. Saylor sold for the first time since 2022. ETFs have experienced 10 consecutive days of outflows, the most negative record in their history. American inflation rose to 3.8%. And the war between the U.S. and Iran keeps escalating.
The market doesn't have just one reason to drop. It has five at the same time.
So now what?
The critical support is between $65,000 and $68,000. If BTC loses it with volume, the next strong level appears at $60,000. The most bearish analysts are already talking about $55,000 as a possible scenario if the stock market also gives way.
But there's something that always happens when fear is at its peak.
The weekly RSI is below 30. In the last two instances when this occurred in Bitcoin's history, the price initiated a rally towards a new all-time high.
Are we hitting the bottom or is more pain ahead?
