A security incident has just impacted Solv Protocol - $SOLV
A token vault was drained by approximately $2.7M after a bug allowed an attacker to mint excessive tokens and exchange them for ~38.05 SolvBTC.
The exploit, described as an excessive minting / re-entry vulnerability, was executed 22 times but affected fewer than 10 users.
$SOLV says that all user losses will be covered and has brought in security firms including Hypernative Labs, SlowMist, and CertiK to investigate.
The team has also implemented mitigations and published an Ethereum address with a 10% bounty for the attacker.
So far, there has been no on-chain response from the hacker.
