Created in 2012, Payeer was during a longtime a leader in the Online payment and crypto industry. The different regulation and sanctions have finally overcome the effort of the platform to maintain its service. On 27/11/25 Payeer informed their users that they will close. Users have until January 06th to withdraw their assets.
This news had a huge impact on Payeer USD prices on P2P Platform dropping of 20% : 1 USDT equalling to 1.2 USD Payeer.

I am an experienced P2P merchant being aware of most common scaming attempt but Yesterday a scammer was near to scam me with a new technic.
As merchant, I keep the same name on different P2P Platform.
I received at the same time two different buying order on two different P2P and from different name but same amount . Each asked me for payment details. I provide then the first made the payment and marked paid. On the second platform he left the order being cancelled. For the first one he gave me payment référence but no screenshot and press me to release. After checking my account I released. Then on the other platform the buyer reopened the cancelled order and raised an appeal with screenshots of the same payment i early received. Hopefully I was able to prove that it was the same person so won the dispute.
Be cautious:
- Avoid using same Name on different plateform
- In case of doubt, ask for a clear proof of payment
- If in appeal, explain clearly

How I ALMOST MISSED THE BULL RUN OF WIKICAT
In January 2025, I was searching for meme coin where I Can put some small amount and hope it to increase later.
I Decided to buy WIKICAT on GATE with a small amount of around 10 usd hoping that I would regularly increase my investment and see in coming years. Unfortunately I did not increase it as planned and completely forget this small amount.
On August 19th I noticed that my account had some high amount but I thought It was related to the ETH that I bought. But sometimes later I noticed that the total amount of my wallet went down even the eth price has not dropped significantly. I just checked all my crypto and noticed that my 10 usd of WIKICAT worth now 300 usd with even a 24h loss of -40%. I just realized that my 10 usd investisment was 530 usd the previous day!!!!
I sold half of the amount😁 but I MISSED something.
