Happy start of the week! There is nothing like the first coffee of Monday to plan the objectives for the coming days.
Today I was thinking about how our way of seeing money has changed here in Venezuela. Before, a Monday was running to the bank or checking the parallel rate. Now, many of us open Binance before we even open our eyes.
I want to know how you all start your financial week:
🔹 The anxious ones: Those who already exchanged their USDT on Sunday night to have bolívares ready for Monday.
🔹 The "Holders": Those who do not touch their digital savings and prefer to stretch the budget as far as it will go.
🔹 The early birds of P2P: Those who take advantage of the first hour of the morning to look for the best rates or post ads.
At the end of the day, what we seek is tranquility and for our effort to pay off. Coffee tastes better when you know your assets are protected.

The dilemma in Venezuela 🇻🇪: Should I save in $USDT or trust in the bank dollar? 💸
After the news about the new OFAC licenses, many in the community have asked me the same thing: Is it still worth buying digital dollars on Binance?
Here I share my vision and want to know yours:
🔹 The speed of P2P: There is no bank that surpasses the speed of exchanging your bolívares for USDT in minutes. To cover an emergency or take advantage of a deal, Binance remains the king of immediacy.
🔹 The fear of the gap: We all know that sometimes the street dollar price and the official one do not go hand in hand. USDT usually protects us better on those uncertain days when everything suddenly rises.
🔹 Total freedom: Having your funds in a digital wallet allows you to move them out of the country or pay for international services without asking anyone for permission. That freedom is priceless, especially with the new financial openings.
My opinion: Banks are improving, but the flexibility that USDT gives us is hard to let go. I will continue using both, but my strong "cushion" stays digital.

Attention community! This week, the financial landscape in Venezuela has taken a historic turn. The OFAC (the U.S. agency) issued Licenses 56 and 57, allowing the Central Bank of Venezuela (BCV), the Bank of Venezuela, and the Treasury Bank to operate again with dollars and international services.
What does this have to do with our use of $USDT ? Let me explain it simply:
🔹 Connected banks: With these sanctions lifted, public banking will be able to move dollars directly. This makes it easier for the national banking system to have more foreign currency available.
🔹 Stability for the USDT: In Venezuela, the price of USDT usually rises significantly because it is the fastest way to protect against devaluation. If banks can now offer more official dollars, it is very likely that the price of USDT in the P2P market will stabilize and stop having those sudden jumps.
🔹 Fewer hurdles for everyone: This measure aims to normalize payments and the movement of money. Although USDT will remain key for saving and sending remittances, we will now operate in a market with less pressure and more legal options.
In summary: The new licenses help make the financial system more fluid. USDT is not going to disappear, but now it will have healthier competition with the bank dollar, which benefits us all with better prices.
