🐋 WHALES JOIN HANDS TO OPEN LONG ETH
Position $114 million: Long ETH with 15x leverage. Entry price around $2048, liquidation price $1257, PnL over $1.39 million
Position $94 million: Long ETH 20x leverage. Entry price $2029, liquidation price $1331, PnL about $3.03 million
Although using quite high leverage (15x - 20x), the liquidation prices of both are very far below the $1400 level. For these two orders to "disappear", ETH would have to drop about 35-40% in value from the current level.
The distance of the liquidation price from the current price shows that these are not short-term "gambling" orders. These whales have a large amount of margin used to withstand the strong market whipsaws.
The Funding Fee (position maintenance fee) is also quite high ($111k and $64k). If ETH remains stagnant for too long without breaking out, they will lose tens of thousands of dollars in fees for every hour that passes.$ETH
