#LayerZeroBacksDeFiUnitedWithOver10000ETH The man Newsweek called the inventor of Bitcoin sat down for a free sushi lunch and told the world he’d never even heard of it 🍣
March 2014. Newsweek puts out this huge front page story saying they finally figured out who Satoshi Nakamoto really was. Some 64 year old retired engineer named Dorian Nakamoto, living quietly in California. Reporters basically camped outside his house. There was even a car chase through LA at one point. It was everywhere.
Then Dorian said he’d talk, but only if a reporter bought him lunch. So over free sushi he just calmly explained he had nothing to do with Bitcoin, never even heard of it until a couple weeks before, and the whole article got him wrong. The crypto community actually ended up raising like 100 BTC for him afterwards just to say sorry for what the media put him through.
The real Satoshi? Still nobody knows. 15 years later and not a clue.
