WHITE HOUSE : BITCOIN RESERVE UPDATE COMING
White House Digital Asset Advisor Patrick Witt himself has confirmed the matter, so this is no longer just a market rumor.....
He recently said while speaking at the #Bitcoin 2026 conference in Las Vegas and later at the Consensus 2026 event in Miami that a major update on the Strategic Bitcoin Reserve is going to come in the next few weeks. What I find interesting is that the government has already done a lot of work. That means the legal and technical preparations to bring the Bitcoins that have been confiscated at various times into a central reserve are almost complete. And since the recent issue that arose with the US Marshals Service's digital asset security, this process is moving faster. The government now wants to keep these assets more secure and organized, rather than keeping them in separate places.
To me, this doesn't seem like just a simple administrative update. Because there was a time when governments didn't take Bitcoin seriously, and now the White House itself is talking about a strategic reserve. This is no small thing.
The only thing to watch now is how big a scale they are going to do it on. Because if an official reserve announcement really comes, it could be a huge signal for the entire crypto market.
