JPMorgan Chase invested more than $30 billion of fresh capital in just these five stocks and ETFs during the first quarter, according to its Q1 2026 13F filings:
1. Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO): JPMorgan added 15,568,104 shares of the ETF in Q1, worth over $9.04 billion. VOO is the 12th-largest holding in JPMorgan’s $1.6 trillion 13F portfolio. Just a few days ago, VOO became first ETF to hit $1 trillion in AUM. The ETF has surged 13.46% since the end of Q1.
2. iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV): The bank acquired 12,467,700 shares of IVV in Q1, valued at more than $7.92 billion. IVV is the 15th-largest holding in JPMorgan’s 13F portfolio and has risen 13.43% since the end of Q1.
3. Alphabet Class A shares (GOOG): JPMorgan bought 19,208,423 Alphabet Class C shares in Q1, valued at over $5.25 billion. GOOG is the 5th-largest holding in JMorgan’s 13F portfolio. The stock has climbed 27.50% since the end of Q1.
4. State Street SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 ETF (SPYM): JPMorgan added 60,724,409 shares of SPYM in Q1, worth more than $4.52 billion. The ETF is up 13.41% since the end of Q1.
5. AstraZeneca PLC (AZN): JPMorgan bought 18,590,922 AstraZeneca shares in Q1, valued at over $3.60 billion. This was the bank’s 5th largest buy of the first-quarter.
