#st It's been a while since I've seen such high losses in a day. ST took a nosedive, and I tried to catch the bottom, jumping in at 1500u, then out at 1460u. I was just hoping to snag a few u in fees, but now I’ve fallen into a pit. #ACU Today, I racked up 40u in fees trying to trade it. It’s a tough spot; in the afternoon, I traded 150k, and by evening, I was rushing to trade another 100k, which cost me 25u in fees. The price is still dropping, and I’m not sure if I can break even the day after tomorrow. I made 21 on the long position and 12 on the short, and with the trading competition, I'm barely holding on to today’s losses. For tomorrow's #OPG , I’m not planning to trade it. I’ll just open a long position and see if I can make some fees.
At this rate, #ST , we only need 160k to qualify. I think I'm in the clear. After some reckless trades, I lost a few dozen bucks, but this time I'm really hoping for a pump.
#ST Last night I bought 500 at 0.0766, sold at 0.78, thinking it would pull back to around 0.745, so I set a limit order at that level. Woke up in the middle of the night and saw it at 0.08, not playing by the rules anymore. Now it's at 0.085, and I don't want to chase the highs. The first stage of the trading competition ends today, and based on previous patterns, there's still a strong chance it could rise above 0.09. I'm planning to wait for a pullback before adding a bit more to my position to hedge the upside contract.
#PRL Is 100k enough to enter the trading competition? Today I took a hit of 18u, got caught in a squeeze once, didn't bail, held the position, and it bounced back later; otherwise, I would have been deep in the red.
I'm a bit spooked after getting squeezed while trading alpha with the #ST . A couple of days ago, I only hit the 65000 level and lost 10u in a day. Today is looking a bit better; the volatility on st isn't too bad. If I take it slow, my losses are pretty minimal, just 2u today. Let's see if I can grind my way to 260k with low losses.
#JCT My trading isn't feeling right today. Started grinding at 8, and I already took a hit of 35u with 80k in trades. The losses are too hefty, and it’s easy to get caught in a squeeze. Just one trade can cost me several u, and I’m still not sure if I can qualify. Had to hedge a bit. The data that came out at 8 was a bit scary, how is it that we’re not even hitting 7000?
#BSB The funding rate has gone negative, the project team can confidently pump it up now. I'm putting in a long order at 1.2, let's see if I can liquidate it tonight and recover my previous losses.
$BSB The whales are going crazy with the pump, hitting new highs. Not sure if any of my buddies are still holding their spot, but those who are thinking of taking profits are gonna feel the pain, aiming straight for $1.
#alpha Just a quick note, this was the day with the highest alpha trading volume. When I first jumped in, I had no experience and didn't take notes, and the fees were unexpectedly high. Now that I've wrapped my head around it, it seems like it's too late; alpha has already faded. Just gotta tip my hat to yesterday.
#SOON Today I'm thinking about trying to get in the top 100, overreached a bit, made 50k in an hour. Feeling a bit overconfident, you all go ahead. With losses of 30k to 40k, not to mention getting squeezed, manually trading is really getting tough.
What trading competition is $RTX rolling in? Yesterday, $TRIA noticed something off with the trading volume, good thing I stopped before rolling, needed at least 200k to enter, and the loss would’ve been at least 40u. I wonder how many of you are just along for the ride. Today I didn’t roll with RTX either; I made two short trades. On the first wave, I entered at 1.5, bought 600u, and sold at 1.8, making a 20-point gain. On the second wave, I bought 200 and made 37u. Why roll when this is so much sweeter? By the way, I sold the last 30 from the trading competition at 2.1, feeling good today. #GNEIUS racked up 220k, so qualifying isn’t a big issue anymore. That’s it for today.
