The IMF has raised its growth outlook for India for FY26 to 6.4% from 6.2% projected in April, citing a more benign external environment and lower inflation.
The 20 bps upgrade was part of an update to the multilateral lenderās World Economic Outlook report, which also scaled up Indiaās GDP forecast for FY27 by 10 bps to 6.4%.
