SUI doesn’t look weak right now. It looks dangerous.
After exploding to $1.42, price cooled down into the $1.29–1.30 zone and most traders immediately started calling it “over.” But the structure honestly tells a different story.
The interesting part is that buyers are still defending every major support area aggressively. $1.27–1.28 continues acting like an accumulation zone, while $1.25 remains the key higher timeframe level keeping the bullish structure alive.
And this is where things get interesting.

Whale long exposure reportedly jumped 188% while the long/short ratio flipped bullish. That usually doesn’t happen when smart money expects a complete breakdown. It usually happens when bigger players are positioning for volatility before the crowd notices.
The market also still has a strong narrative behind it.
SUI’s confidential transaction upgrade changed sentiment completely. Suddenly this stopped feeling like “just another Layer 1” and started attracting attention as a chain pushing deeper into privacy-focused infrastructure. In crypto, strong narratives can keep momentum alive far longer than people expect.
At the same time, Binance campaigns and the 50,000 USDT trading competition are bringing extra liquidity and attention back into the ecosystem. More attention usually means more volatility.
Now the real level everyone should watch is $1.35.
If buyers reclaim that zone with strong volume, the move toward $1.38–1.42 could happen very fast because shorts above resistance may get trapped hard.

But if volume stays weak, SUI probably keeps ranging until stronger accumulation appears.
Either way, this chart still feels far from finished.
