Today I woke up thinking that some people deserve special recognition, even if there isn’t an "official" reason to do so.
In this trading journey, I've learned that it's not just about charts, indicators, or strategies; it's also about the people who come along the way, leaving their mark and supporting our journey. That’s why I want to give a shoutout to @KiuTrades , because behind a community, there are countless hours of work, patience, dedication, and genuine desire to help others grow. And although what goes on behind the scenes is rarely visible, those of us in the Kiu Legion know the value of having someone who teaches, guides, and shares from experience, love, patience, dedication, and so much more that your trading entails. Thank you for every lesson, every piece of advice, every learning opportunity, and for supporting our growth not just through results but also through your ability to inspire others; this last part is what you do best—you inspire, support, and propel us forward.
Thank you, my Kiu, for guiding us on this journey.
And well, you don’t need a special date to write these words, hehe, I just wanted to express my gratitude.
I wish you many projects, many goals achieved, and above all, many reasons to always smile.
Scenario 1: You confidently enter a Long operation, you know it will go up, you have no doubts, but as soon as you start, the chart begins to drop and you watch as you start to lose money. You know that at some point the operation will reverse and you just need to be patient and wait... or not. Your margin might not give you the time to wait and you end up being liquidated, so you sweat, think, curse Binance, and feel anxious, and in the end, you decide to wait and watch your money dwindle. You look to the sky but it's too late, it's over; you hadn't even placed a Stop Loss because your confidence got the better of you. Now you are alone, staring at your screen and seeing how it finally started to rise but you have nothing left to trade again... you cry.
Scenario 2: You look at the candles and have doubts, you don't know if it will go up or down at this moment, whatever it is, you must enter, you can't waste time so you go for the safest option, you enter Short and start seeing a green candle, you exit quickly from the operation, you barely lost 0.78 and quickly enter Long to see how the candle turns red and starts to drop. You were right, you should have waited, you tell yourself, and close with a small loss of 1.32 and enter again in Short. This time the candle is finally red and shows a small profit but now you don't know where it will go... you place a Stop Loss just in case and watch everything go straight to your Stop Loss... you don't know if you should enter again, you're confused, you think this isn't for you.
What if you could have opened a contrary position just in case? You would make money while it drops and then wait for it to rise with more peace of mind. Well, that exists and it's called Hedge Mode.
To activate this feature in Binance, go to the Futures screen and, in the upper right corner, click the three dots (…). Access Preferences → Position Mode / Position Details and select Hedge Mode.
If you have any questions, ask me and I'll help you.

Second part on how to trade in Futures!
Leverage is one of the most important elements, especially for those who wish to start in futures with little capital. When you use a leverage rate, you are asking Binance to lend you money for the operation, multiplying the money you are going to start with by the leverage amount. This means that if you use a leverage of X50, for every dollar you use to enter, the system takes it as if you entered with 50. You will not have these 50 dollars, but the ROI (Return on Investment) will be calculated based on 50 dollars.
So, when you use one dollar leveraged X50, you are generating profits as if you had 50 dollars, and at the same time, your losses will be magnified X50 (not everything could be nice).
Generally, the minimum to start in futures would be almost 6 dollars, so how do we start with one dollar? With a high leverage that could be X30 to slightly reduce your risk, enter only with 20% of your dollar, that is, 0.20, this will also allow you to have a quite high liquidation price.
The liquidation price indicates that if the symbol reaches that price, you will lose all your money.
Leave your questions and doubts and we will respond to you. Soon you will be mingling in a profitable and successful trader.
