Live Today at 15:00 UTC: Let's Talk Cross-Chain UX
Cross-chain swaps were supposed to make moving assets between blockchains effortless.
So why do so many users still rely on centralized exchanges?
Today, we're going live to discuss one of DeFi's longest-standing challenges and explore what it will take to make cross-chain transfers truly seamless.
🎙️ Discussion Topics 🔹 Which parts of the cross-chain experience users have quietly accepted as "normal" 🔹 Why CEXs remain the preferred option for many transfers 🔹 What a near-invisible cross-chain experience could look like

Cross-chain infrastructure has evolved rapidly, but user experience still has room to improve. What do you think is the biggest obstacle preventing seamless cross-chain adoption?
STON.fi has launched cross-chain swaps between TON and leading EVM networks directly within its dApp, enabling users to swap supported assets across multiple blockchains through a unified interface.
The feature currently supports TON, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, and Polygon, allowing users to execute swaps between supported assets on any connected network. For example, users can swap USDC on Base directly for USDT on Ethereum without using separate bridging solutions.
Supported assets at launch: ▪️ USDT on TON ▪️ USDT & USDC on Ethereum ▪️ USDT & USDC on Base ▪️ USDT & USDC on BNB Chain ▪️ PUSD & USDC on Polygon
The cross-chain functionality is powered by Omniston, STON.fi’s liquidity aggregation and execution protocol. The platform states that users either receive the exact quoted amount or the transaction is canceled and funds are returned.
To ensure stability during the rollout phase, cross-chain swaps are currently capped at $1,000 per transaction.
STON.fi noted that additional chains, tokens, and cross-chain capabilities are expected to be added in future updates.
The TON community has approved the rename of the network’s native token from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM).
The change only affects the token’s displayed name and ticker across wallets and applications.
✅ Wallet balances remain unchanged ✅ The Open Network (TON) remains the same blockchain ✅ Smart contracts, NFTs, jettons, staking positions, LPs, farms, and DeFi positions are unaffected ✅ Transaction history and network infrastructure remain unchanged
No action is required from users.
⚠️ Security Alert: There is no migration, swap, bridge, claim, or airdrop related to this rename. Be cautious of any website, bot, or service asking you to convert TON to GRAM or connect your wallet to receive tokens.
STON.fi users can continue using the platform as usual—liquidity positions, farming rewards, and swap history remain fully intact.
Stay safe and always verify information through official sources.
Another eventful week for the STON.fi ecosystem, with strong growth in trading activity, developer participation, and liquidity incentives.

STON.fi Launches Real-Time Transparency Dashboard for Protocol Fee Conversions
STON.fi has unveiled a public transparency dashboard that provides real-time, on-chain visibility into the conversion of protocol fees into STON and GEMSTON for the treasury. The initiative follows a proposal approved by the STON.fi DAO community and allows users to independently verify every conversion, treasury wallet, and related treasury metrics.
The dashboard showcases the execution of community governance decisions directly on-chain, reinforcing transparency and accountability within the ecosystem. STON.fi clarified that the Ston Foundation's role is limited to supporting transparency around the DAO-approved implementation and does not include market-making, price support, or discretionary token activities. Any future use of acquired tokens will require a separate DAO community decision.
👉 The transparency page is now live and accessible to all community members.
🪙 TON Community Vote: Toncoin Could Be Renamed to Gram
Telegram has proposed changing the native token name of The Open Network from Toncoin (TON) to Gram (GRAM), bringing back the original token name from the TON White Paper.
✅ Blockchain remains TON ✅ No token swap or migration required ✅ Wallet balances and addresses stay the same ✅ NFTs, staking, smart contracts, and DeFi remain unaffected ✅ No action required from users
⚠️ Be cautious of scams. Any website, bot, or link asking users to "claim GRAM" or "migrate TON" is fraudulent.
🗳️ The proposal is currently being voted on through TON Vote, with voting power based on TON holdings and the vote running for one week.
If approved, the change would affect only the token name and ticker, while the TON ecosystem continues operating as usual.
What do you think—should Toncoin return to its original name, Gram?
