UBX Youbit claims to be an 'international compliant virtual currency exchange', focusing on 'high-yield investment + low-threshold trading', and fabricates a background of cooperation with overseas financial institutions, packaging itself as a 'safe and reliable cryptocurrency investment platform'. In reality, it has no compliance qualifications and is essentially a money-swindling scheme under the guise of an exchange, quickly raising funds and fleeing after launch, leaving a large number of users' assets unable to be withdrawn.

It forges overseas regulatory licenses (such as fake US and Singapore financial permit documents), places false advertisements on social platforms, exaggerates platform returns (claiming annualized rates of 30%+ for flexible investments and over 60% for fixed investments) to attract retail investors to deposit funds.

It launches a 'referral bonus' mechanism, where users invite friends to register and deposit funds, they can receive a share of their friends' trading commissions and additional token rewards, while requiring users to lock a certain amount of virtual currency to unlock high yields, indirectly expanding the number of victims while locking in users' funds.

The platform lists several niche altcoins, artificially inflating coin prices through internal funds to create a false profit illusion, attracting more users to increase their investments; once the fund pool reaches the expected scale, the platform suddenly closes withdrawal channels, deletes official communities, takes down the app, and the team completely disappears, leaving users' deposited assets at zero.

Involving users from many regions across the country, individual user losses range from thousands to hundreds of thousands, with the overall amount involved exceeding ten million yuan. The subsequent difficulty for victims to defend their rights is extremely high, with almost no possibility of recovery.

Compliance fraud + high-interest deception + multi-level marketing operating simultaneously, the threshold for the scheme is low, it spreads quickly, and it precisely targets ordinary investors who lack awareness of cryptocurrency risks. The speed of collapse is extremely fast, with most users encountering withdrawal closures within 1-3 months of depositing.
