#小红书 【Xiaohongshu Launches Special Governance Action for Financial Professional Accounts to Tackle Illegal Inducement of Cross-Border Investments and Other Violations】Financial News Agency, June 4 - Starting from June 3, Xiaohongshu has initiated a special governance action for certified professional accounts in the financial sector. According to relevant laws, regulations, and platform rules, financial certifications are only issued to institutions holding compliant licenses. The nicknames of certified professional accounts must strictly match the actual business scope of the certifying entity and must not use false or misleading information to obtain certification identifiers. In the past week, Xiaohongshu has dealt with over 1,500 non-compliant financial professional accounts, and will continue to strengthen the public verification mechanism comprehensively, conducting regular inspections and actions against existing accounts. Staff members reported that since May, the Xiaohongshu platform has dealt with 31,000 accounts involved in financial-related violations or lacking financial marketing qualifications, including 539 posts and 146 comments related to illegal inducement of cross-border investments; and 141 posts related to the low-price resale of foreign investment bank research reports, freezing 132 related items. Additionally, the platform has handled over 130 suspected violations related to gold financial marketing promotions and offshore platform operations within the domestic market.
