Bloomberg's senior commodity strategist Mike McGlone stated on LinkedIn: Bitcoin is most likely to plummet 60% in 2026, heading towards around $50,000, rather than the optimistic $150,000. His reasoning is straightforward: Gold is soaring like a parabolic curve, crude oil is crashing, and stock market volatility is still buried at historical lows. This is not an isolated view. Analysts David Brickell and Chris Mills from the London Crypto Club also raised alarms in their weekly report on the 23rd, pointing out three major hammers suppressing Bitcoin: first, selling pressure crushing buying momentum. The October massacre cleared over $20 billion, and the capital blow has significantly reduced corporate treasury and institutional replenishment willingness; Bitcoin spot ETF saw a net outflow of $3.5 billion this month, creating the worst record since February this year, with demand frozen to an ice point. Secondly, the shadow of the AI bubble looms. With bearish voices rising, could there also be opportunities? McGlone admits there is long-term potential for Bitcoin, but the short-term 'de-risking' wave is hard to resist.
