Ugh, I took a nap and lost even more. I wiped out last year's profits from the second half.
Ugh, I took a nap and lost even more. I wiped out last year's profits from the second half.
I've been losing quite a bit lately, adding up across a few accounts. Since the start of the year, I've wiped out 100wu. One major mistake was not waiting for the right entry points and following the trend. I opened positions haphazardly, thinking I could withstand the fluctuations because of my capital. After raking in a couple of coins, my mindset got inflated beyond control. I’ve lost that hunger and sensitivity I used to have. Once anyone strays from their successful traits and indulges in comfort, disasters often follow. In the crypto space, it never matters what wealth level you’re at. Going against the trend results in percentage losses, and getting liquidated is a complete slaughter. With smaller capital, you can still bounce back. With larger capital, if you fall, it’s hard to get back up. Moving forward, I’ll be more cautious. I hope I can weather this storm. Every time, I rise again. This time will be no exception.

It's just like May 19th, not much different. Today should be the final pump.

All the major bulls have thrown in the towel. I've also stopped bottom fishing and dreaming of breaking even. My bro Huaiyang has already cut losses. I reckon if we take another dip, this period will be pretty much over.

This year's goal is to break even, not lose any more, and to scoop up some Ethereum below 1700. So far this year, I've taken a hit of around 700k USD. The current plan is to ride the wave up to 2100, clear some of my leverage, and then wait to buy back at 1700. After that, I'll aim for 2200 to cash out again, which should get me back to break even. Then I'll wait for anything below 1700 to gradually build my long position. Every time the market dips 40% from its highs, there's usually a chance for a 30% bounce back. Hoping I can catch that and wish me luck! Honestly, I'm done trying to time the bottom; I just want to break even. Please, just let me off the hook.

Searching for the Sword in the Boat Since June '22, we’ve seen interest rates hike while the Russia-Ukraine conflict raged on for six months. By October '22, during the World Cup, Bitcoin was sitting at 18k, marking the bottom of the last bear market. After the World Cup wrapped, the market started to rally all the way to the Lunar New Year. Fast forward to June '26, with the U.S.-Iran tensions ongoing for six months and the market buzzing about interest rate hikes. October is just around the corner, and the World Cup is coming up again. Mainstream sentiment suggests the bottom will likely appear around the World Cup this time too. But if everyone’s piling in on that timing and price, the bottom might not actually land where everyone expects it. Is the four-year cycle really that magical? Every time it’s said to be different, yet the outcome seems to repeat.

Looks like we're at 1850 now. Start stacking 30% spot at 1750. Another 30% spot at 1550. For the rest, if it dips below 1400, we'll play it by ear. Not guaranteed to hit below 1400. I've still got over 200 ETH in contracts stuck in the 2000-2100 range. No rush; this time we're definitely nailing the bottom.
