As October comes to a close, the cryptocurrency market seems to show some upward trends.
In the past two months, the word 'cautious' has almost become the main theme of the cryptocurrency market, especially after experiencing the major crash on October 11. The impact of this crash is slowly fading, and the market sentiment does not seem to continue to deteriorate; instead, there is new hope.
Starting from the latter half of the month, some upward signals are gradually emerging: net inflow data turning positive, altcoin ETFs being approved in batches, and expectations for interest rate cuts rising.
ETF capital inflow, institutions are getting back in
The most remarkable data in October comes from ETFs.
Bitcoin spot ETF has seen a cumulative net inflow of $4.21 billion this month, completely reversing the outflow trend of $1.23 billion in September. The asset management scale has reached $178.2 billion, accounting for 6.8% of Bitcoin's total market value. Looking specifically at the week from October 20 to 27, there was a new influx of $446 million, with BlackRock's IBIT alone accounting for $324 million, and the holdings have now exceeded 800,000 BTC.
