Embedding safety rules in a protocol is elegant in a white paper. In reality, it’s messy. Hospitals don’t run on consensus mechanisms. When a surgeon needs to override a safety protocol to save a life, they aren't going to wait for a DAO vote. And the governance question—the ability to digitally handcuff a machine—is a political powder keg. Who really gets the keys to the kill-switch?

I appreciate that Fabric feels like it was designed by operators, not day traders. But in this game, execution is the only thing that matters. One flawed assumption, and the entire narrative flips from "safety layer" to "liability bomb."

So, I’m watching. I’m not throwing money at the screen, but I’m not walking away either. I’m just sitting here, popcorn in hand, waiting to see how the real world decides to break it.
