Mango Markets attacker Avi Eisenberg’s address reappears on-chain, triggering community attention
Arkham announced on X that Avi Eisenberg—the attacker who allegedly profited approximately $110 million in 2022 by manipulating the Mango Markets price oracle—has recently signed new on-chain transactions, sparking widespread attention across the community.
Previously, Avi Eisenberg executed “high-profit trades” by exploiting a vulnerability in Mango Finance; he later threatened to attack Aave and was liquidated himself on Curve after attempting to liquidate others’ positions. Following these incidents, he was arrested and imprisoned.
His address’s renewed on-chain activity has now prompted market speculation about whether he has re-entered the crypto market—though no further details have been disclosed at this time.
