美国国会以压倒性优势通过了 《21世纪住房发展法案》（21st Century ROAD to Housing Act），众议院投票结果为 358:32，参议院则以 85:5 高票通过。虽然这是一项以住房政策为主的法案，但其中还包含一项重要条款：禁止美联储在2030年底前发行面向公众的美国央行数字货币（CBDC）。
