I was having a Short trade in ETHEREUM with my Stop loss at 2396 since it was a strong support level breking it would result in another strong uptrend.
Here's what institutionals did. They break that level, the price broke the strong support zone, due to which my SL got hit. Another thing that might have happened is looking at this breakout, a lot people would have entered into a long position, but you can see later on the breakout proved to be a fake breakout. The people who had long position also got their SL hit.
This is called SL hunting. Here, big whale and institutions make money and retailers lose their money
Hope you don't miss your seats. Cause learning my way making 30% min every trade and no limit for maximum gains, will help you gain new heights for sure.

Drawing a trendline is simple in theory—but doing it correctly is what separates beginners from traders who actually make money.
🔹 What Is a Trendline? A trendline is a line that connects price points to show the direction of the market. • Uptrend → connects higher lows • Downtrend → connects lower highs
🔹 1. How to Draw an Uptrend Line (Bullish) 📈 Use this when market is going up. Steps: • Identify at least 2 higher lows • Draw a line connecting them • Extend the line forward
👉 Rule: • Price should respect the line (bounce from it) • The more touches → the stronger the trendline
🔹 2. How to Draw a Downtrend Line (Bearish) 📉 Use this when market is going down. Steps: • Identify at least 2 lower highs • Draw a line connecting them • Extend it forward
👉 Rule: • Price should get rejected from the line
🔹 3. Key Rules Most People Ignore ✅ Rule 1: Minimum 2 touches (3rd touch confirms strength) Without 2 touches → it's not a valid trendline. ✅ Rule 2: Don’t force the line If you're adjusting too much → it's probably wrong. ✅ Rule 3: Use candle bodies mostly Wicks can be ignored slightly for cleaner lines. ✅ Rule 4: No cutting through price
Trendline should touch price, not slice through candles repeatedly.
🔹 6. Common Mistakes ❌ Drawing from random points ❌ Using too many lines ❌ Ignoring higher timeframe ❌ Trading every breakout blindly
🔹 Pro Tip (Very Important) Trendline + Support/Resistance together = high probability trades Example: • Trendline support + horizontal support = strong buy zone
