📚 SMC CONCEPT: What is an Order Block?
Most traders look at candles.
Smart traders look at ORDER BLOCKS. 🧱
Here's the simple breakdown 👇
✅ What it is:
An Order Block (OB) is the LAST bearish candle before a strong bullish move — or the LAST bullish candle before a strong bearish move.
This is where institutions placed their orders. Price almost ALWAYS returns to these zones.
✅ How to identify it:
1️⃣ Find a strong impulse move (BOS)
2️⃣ Look at the candle just before the move started
3️⃣ That candle = your Order Block
4️⃣ Wait for price to retrace INTO that zone
✅ How I trade it:
• Mark the OB on HTF (4H or Daily)
• Wait for price to enter the zone
• Look for LTF (15M or 1H) confirmation
• Enter with tight SL just below the OB
📌 Pro Tip: The strongest OBs have an FVG above them. That combination = 🔥 high probability setup.
