
Telecom Italia returned to profit in 2025 thanks to the sale of its fixed line telecommunications business.
The company reported a consolidated net profit of €519 million for the year ended December 31, compared to a loss of €364 million in 2024.
Revenue grew by 2.7% to €13.7 billion, while EBITDA after leases increased by 6.5% to €3.7 billion, the company reported.
Telecom Italia stated that the results reflect the first full year of profit after the sale of the network business unit NetCo.
The group's net debt after leases sharply decreased to €6.9 billion, reflecting the impact of the deal and improvements in financial performance.
Net income attributable to shareholders of the parent company was €297 million compared to a loss of €610 million in the previous year. The minority interest, mainly related to the company's Brazilian operations, amounted to €222 million in profit.
The company reported that the group's net result included €157 million in one-time income. At the parent company level, Telecom Italia reported a net loss of €155 million, which is significantly less than the loss of €1.2 billion in 2024.
The Board of Directors approved the financial statements and announced that the annual general meeting of shareholders will take place on April 15.
