😤From losing 500K to just buying BTC/BNB
In 2021, I entered the crypto space with 200K, feeling like I was the chosen one.
In the first three months, I made 100K, going all-in on contracts and meme coins, chasing whatever was thrilling. Then came the plot twists you can imagine—liquidations, zeroing out, bouncing back, and crashing again. At my lowest point, I lost nearly 500K, including a SOL I bought at $1.80 and sold at $0.12, losing 80K in just two days.
During that time, I couldn't even look at the charts, sleepless at night, constantly saying "I'm about to break even." It wasn't until my wife, who earns 100K a month, found out she was pregnant in 2026 that I finally woke up—what the hell was I doing? Leaving debts for my unborn child?
👊 So, starting May 10, 2026, I committed to just one thing: dollar-cost averaging into BTC and BNB every month.
Current holdings:
- BTC: 0.011 coins (spot + flexible finance)
- BNB: 35.12 coins (locked + flexible finance)
- Plus some CAKE and RWUSD in finance, totaling around 48K USDT
No leverage, no contracts, no shorting. I don't know if I'll get rich, but at least I won't make my wife and kids pay for my greed.
Recently, BTC dipped below 71K, and everyone in my circle is shouting bear market. I think it's normal—volatility is Bitcoin, and the day it stops fluctuating might be the day it really ends.
You can trade however you like, but I'm sticking to my dollar-cost averaging for the next 30 years 😏
