😅 Back in 2021, I lost 500k trading contracts, and now I only buy BTC and BNB spot.
Seriously, don't laugh at me.
When I first jumped into the crypto scene in 2021, I thought I was a genius. I was going all in with 10x leverage, full margin with 500k, and within three days, I lost it all but couldn’t accept it, kept pushing and kept losing. The altcoins were even crazier; I bought a dozen hundredx coins, only to watch them go to zero, leaving me with just memories.
By May 10, 2026, I finally saw the light.
I put all the remaining cash into BTC and BNB spot, and started a 30-year dollar-cost averaging plan. Three trades a day, each in the range of 1,000-62,600, no exceptions. No contracts, no leverage, and I don’t even check the short-term fluctuations.
Current holdings: BTC ~0.011 BTC + BNB ~35 BNB + other investments, totaling about 4,460 bucks.
Isn’t it ironic? Five years ago, I lost 500k, and now I have less than 50k, yet I sleep like a baby.
Today is the 9th day of extreme fear on the FNG index, and the market rebounded slightly over the weekend.
So, what do you think? Did I wake up too late, or did I just arrive at the right moment?
